I hadn't heard the term anime until 5 years ago when I started working in a
library . I wanted to start some kind of teen group so I was asking for
suggestions and someone mentioned an anime club. Of course I had that blank look
on my face so I was given an explanation. Okay, so I did some research and for
our first presentation I showed Fruits Basket. That was my downfall. Suddenly I
just couldn't get enough! I'm now completely obsessed and the teens laugh at me,
because they think it's hilarious, however, our club has over 40 members so who
has the last laugh? bwahahahaha
I would love a second season also, but I'm not holding my breath. I just don't
think it will happen (but I really hope that I am proven wrong). The manga is up
to volume 18 in Japan and I have no idea how much longer it will continue but
things are getting extremely interesting! I think the hardest part is waiting
and anticipating whether or not another season will come out. My friends and I
have this discussion quite often

just chill bro, everything's fine...the skins are working, just like he said
it's probably just a glitch, sheqel will have it fixed just as soon as he can,
this happens every now and then, and I dont believe it was caused by adding the
free download quota. Just give it a little time.
Phew! *wipes forehead* I thought for sure it was something to do with my
computer! Thank you for clearing this up and letting us know that this is a
fixable thing. Right now I'm only getting those darn red x's. The smiley icons
won't even show up! I'm so glad!
I was really disappointed in Noir. It was far too long. The first few episodes
and the last 3 episodes were the best. Not really sure why I stuck it out
because it almost killed me to watch the whole thing. I kept hoping it would get
better.
My friends just think I'm nuts because I'm so obsessed with anime. I watch it
all the time and I read all the manga I can get my hands on, but my friends also
feed my addiction by giving me gifts of anything anime. In fact I've been able
to convert some of those people who chuckle at me and tell me I need to be
committed
hmmmm... that's a really good question. I have no idea. I have been a fan of
comic book art for a very long time and the Japanese style just really appeals
to me. Your question made me think of the time I saw Cowboy Bebop at the
theatre. There were 6 people there. Myself and 2 friends and 3 guys in the back.
They all felt the need to light up after the scene where Faye has her shirt cut
open. She isn't even exposed, but I think it was the whole fantasy thing. Gotta
tell ya, that was pretty funny. Never thought that cartoon boobs could do so
much for some
I just read that over and that really doesn't answer your question, but I think
it's because the art appeals to the whole fantasy thing because in the real
world people just don't look like that.
I second the Wow. My undergraduate degree is in ancient art and archaeology. I
loved going to University. It was soo much better than high school and I met one
of my best friends at University. Would I do it again? No, even though I loved
it I just wouldn't want to do that over again. When I finished my 4th year I
vowed never to return to school. *cough* whatever *cough* As
you may have guessed there is not a lot of work in archaeology and it's very
difficult to survive unless you are a professor. 5 years after I graduated I was
encouraged to get a Masters in Library and Information Science, so I went back
to school full time and finished my degree in two years. I'm now a Young Adult
librarian and I love every minute of my job. I
wouldn't trade it for anything. In fact the teens I worked with got me hooked on
anime. I'd never heard of it until I started working with the teens and they
wanted to start a club.
Anyway, that's my story. Hope you didn't find it too boring!! Good luck with
your PHd!!!
I'm the youngest of 4 and I'm not reall sure who has it the toughest. I would
say that the youngest and oldest have it tough in different ways. With regard to
parents it seems that they are usually stricter with the first. In my case my
sister (the third child) had lots of amunition when it comes to those torturous
things that siblings do to each other I
got a triple dose!! My brother and sisters all had their own methods! As adults
though it's a little more difficult for them to dish it out because I learned my
lessons well *he he he*
Don't get me wrong I love them dearly, but we do love our jokes and pranks
I am absolutely terrified of bees (any insect that stings actually). I don't
like heights and I'd prefer a bug free world, but they have their place too,
right?
I think that it's fairly equal because both genders have so many expectations
placed on them, whether it's societal or peer pressure. I think the physical
differences kind of speak for themselves. As a woman I agree with those of you
who spoke of cramps and what-not. Gents be thankful you don't have to go through
that on monthly basis.
Quote by sekhmet11I'm sorry, I had to
check this out. Could you gentlemen please tell me
what the fascination is? I mean I don't mind in the slighest, but I
just don't get it. Why do men love boobs sooooo much? (I'm a girl btw
:) )
Lots of things. Visual aspect, feel aspect, pillow aspect, suckable aspect,
erogenous zone aspect, and the other aspects that would get me in trouble for
posting them on MT.
LOL..I think the main reason that men likes boobs is that its is built in them
from the genetic they are made to attract to certain female sexual body parts
and the boobs just happen to be one of them. There's also a pyschological
aspect of it where the breast is the baby's main source of life which all of us
doesn't want to admit that once in ourlife we sucked on it. The only
differences is that girls grow them too so they are not fascinated by it...guys
on the other hand are still fascinated..........
............ew...i can't believe i just wrote that
Thanks guys! That helped a little. Very interesting indeed. I guess the next
question would be do you prefer large, small or average?
lol! I can't believe I'm writing this, but I really would like to know.
It's a little on the dark side, but I like it.
These are great! Thanks for sharing
These are really good

If I had any dreams last night I don't remember. I slept like a stone.
Anime: Fullmetal Alchemist, Rahxephon, Cowboy Bebop, Elfen Lied, Gilgamesh
Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Naruto, Hot Gimmick, Rurouni Kenshin and any Yaoi I can get my hands on
There's lots more that I'm interested in, but this is the stuff I just have to have.

my favourite word is "hajimemashite". I just love the way it feels to say it and I love the way it sounds
Wellllll..... I'm a huge fan of Fullmetal so I am going to say definitly buy it.
Coke all the way!

I don't particularly care for that. It's just kind of icky. (I'm not trying to be offensive that's just how I feel about it.)
hmmmm..... I'll keep my list short
shoulders/back
hands
lips/smile
eyes

I do not miss high school at all. University was soooooo much more fun, but I still wouldn't do that over again either.
I either really early or about 5 to 10 minutes late. I try to do to many things at once and my timing stinks
